MORTON'S SIESTA MARKET
This little market is right in the village and always has what we need.

PUBLIX
This is our major grocery store. There is one over both the North and South bridges.

EARTH ORIGIN'S MARKET
This is my Organic store, with all the veggies, food and vitamins that you need. Just over the South bridge.

TRADER JOE'S
We are so excited to have Trader Joe’s just off of the North bridge to Siesta. What a great store.

WHOLE FOODS MARKET
Whole foods is located in our beautiful downtown Sarasota, about 15 minutes away.


Fun ways to get around:


SUNRIDE PEDICAB
This is a fun way to get around without worrying about parking. They will pick you up and take you to the beach or the village. 941-343-3400.

JOHNNY'S FREE BEACH RIDES
They have electric golf carts for up to six people and its free! 941-306-9097.

SIESTA KEY FREE RIDE
They too have electric golf carts for up to six people. 941-952-TAXI.

For Dog Lovers:

VENICE DOG BEACH

Fenced dog play yard leads to the only beach area in the county where dogs are allowed. Other amenities are picnic tables, benches, showers, drinking fountains for humans and dogs. Open daily, 7 a.m. - dusk. To the south is South Broward providing beach access for humans only, includes boardwalks, benches and showers. Parking available at both places.


RED BUG SLOUGH PRESERVE
DOG FRIENDLY
Leashed pets are permitted at this 72-acre preserve has several miles of hiking trails, a small playground, picnic shelters and a fishing dock. 
The hiking trails are unpaved but accessible for most visitors.
Water, sunblock, a rain jacket, insect repellant and sturdy shoes are recommended for hiking. 
The preserve has limited parking and a walk-thru gate near the Beneva Road entrance and is accessible on foot or by bicycle at several other walk-thru entrances. For other dog friendly attractions see bringfido.

SARASOTA LEGACY BIKE TRAIL

Miles of reclaimed train tracks have been converted into a wonderful trail through the brush, overpasses and along the water.

SIESTA KEY TENNIS COURTS

The Siesta Key beach tennis courts are only a short walk or bike ride away. They were part of the $21.5 million renovations of the beach, pavilion, and parking lot. There are four courts.

 

ROBIN HOOD RENTALS
Our friend, Mark, has everything you need to enjoy Siesta: segways, golf carts, bicycles, kayaks, scooters, scooter cars, and everything for the beach too.

SIESTA KEY WINE BAR

A comfortable atmosphere to call your own where you can gather with friends & family to enjoy a glass or two of wine. They offer many exclusive selections from world-class vineyards and a wonderful selection of low-sulfite tropical wines produced locally at award-winning wineries all in a coastal environment.


KAYAK SARASOTA

Bill has all of your kayaking needs. Go for an adventure through the Lido Key mangrove tunnels where you'll be surrounded by mangroves 30ft tall and see lots of crabs, birds, and jellyfish. We love doing this. 941-306-1220.

LA BARGE BOAT TROPICAL CRUISES

End your day with a breathtaking sunset aboard a floating tropical island. This cruise sails most nights and features drinks and live music!


SIESTA KEY FARMERS MARKET
The market is every Sunday morning at Davidson’s plaza in the village. Lots of organic, fresh, homemade foods. Lovely!


YOGA ON SIESTA BEACH

Take a yoga class right on the gorgeous sand at the main beach.

DRUMMING CIRCLE
Every Sunday night a huge group gathers at the main beach access to enjoy the sunset and tribal tones of the drums. Bring your belly dancing outfit or a hula hoop, or just bring a beach chair and watch the entertainment of it all. The kids really love it.

SIESTA FIESTA
This art and craft festival has been going on every April for decades. The main street in the village is closed and hundreds of artists set up their booths. It's a fun time.

INTERNATIONAL SANDCASTLE COMPETITION
The Crystal Classic Sand Sculpting Competition
Internationally acclaimed sand sculptures come every November to amaze us with their talents. It really has to be seen to be believed. 


RIDE HORSES ON THE BEACH
Horseback Riding on the Beach and HorseSurfing™ in Bradenton, FL - Experience the dream of riding a horse on a beach then riding your horse into Palma Sola Bay. You will have an opportunity to ride on a horse that is actually swimming! Plus, we'll teach you how to HorseSurf™ and HorseSki™ (optional). You might even have a few wild dolphins swim by.

CB’s Saltwater Outfitters is the largest on-the-water Bait & Tackle Shop that offers Siesta Key Boat Rentals, Fishing Charters, Fishing Tackle, clothing, and sandals for everyone.

This is located right in the village. It couldn’t be more convenient. So, no more excuses! They welcome visitors and offer an online coupon too. They have plenty of equipment to give you a great workout.
